Has been restrung with new D’Addario hard tension strings and is free from any dents, dings or cracks and only has natural playing marks. Despite its classical configuration, it was frequently played as a “folk” instrument. Martin distributed this model from 1978 to 1986, and it has served many musicians well over the years. Goya was the first classic guitar line to put the trademark name on the headstock, and also created the ball end classic guitar string. This kind of guitar was also released elsewhere as the Levin model LG10. The earlier version of it, made in the 60s, was the guitar used by Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music. The Goya Company featured a number of innovations that most people are not aware of. Absolutely beautiful Goya G10 classical guitar made in 1964 by the Swedish Levin company for the US market. While this trademark is currently discontinued, the rights to the name are still held by the Martin Guitar Company. Martin Guitar Company, located in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, in 1974 when they acquired Levin, and Goya guitars were distributed by Martin until 1996. I've noticed this brand popping up more recently - saw Angel Olsen playing an acoustic show with one. No wonder Martin bought out Levin in the late 1960s, as they found them a threatening in the US market. I have had a few of these and they record and play superbly.

Hasn't had a neck reset, but won't need one. the label inside just says 'Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Model 4 93 0087.C.F. Spruce top, mahogany neck, rosewood bridge, and birch back and sides. Someone gave me a Goya guitar and i am trying to find out the value of it.
